A section of Highway 103 has re-opened after an 18-wheeler jackknifed between Chester Basin and Oakland.
The RCMP closed down the highway between Exits 9 and 10 around 10:50 a.m to allow time for crews with the Department of Transportation and local fire departments to clean-up.
The highway was closed for two hours.
Sgt. Mark MacPherson says there were no injuries.
He says it’s one of several crashes police have dealt with this morning.
“The roads are bad, they’re treacherous. People need to stay off the road, if at all possible.”
MacPherson says if people have to be on the road, they need to drive with caution and keep a safe distance back from other vehicles.
