A December contest on CKBW and Country 100.7 made waves today on Live with Kelly.
The television program featuring Kelly Ripa mentioned ‘Lobster Claus’ after receiving a letter from someone here on the South Shore.
The shout out is around the 34:00 minute mark.
The contest has been ongoing on CKBW for at least the last decade.
Program Director John Wiles says ‘Lobster Claus’ is one of the most popular contests on the radio.
It runs for two weeks with two draws happening on each station Monday for 25 pounds of lobster.
