Our Athlete of the Week is 7-year-old Layton Bezanson of Chester
Sports Organization: Chester united soccer
His Mom writes:
Layton has Autism , ADHD and a learning disability . He absolutely loves soccer . He may not be the best at it but he tries incredibly hard and gives it his all. When he isn’t on the field he is playing soccer in our back yard . It’s a sport that takes stress off his shoulders and he doesn’t have to worry about what people think of him.
He is a amazing boy who loves to help others and would give you his soccer ball if you asked him for it . Chester united soccer is such a great organization, they are aware of children with needs and bend the rules when needed so children like Layton can play soccer and feel included . There isn’t much that he feels included in but this sport he does. He carries the balls around to different stations and helps clean up after practice .
Layton had a great imagination and does his best in the sport that makes him feel proud .
As Athlete of the Week, Layton won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
