Snow, Rain and Ice Pellets On The Way

Snow, freezing rain and rain are expected over the next 24 hours in much of Nova Scotia.

In Lunenburg and Queens counties, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement and is forecasting snow and ice pellets tonight.

That will change to rain overnight and continue for Tuesday.

Meanwhile in Shelburne, Yarmouth and Digby counties, there is a rainfall warning in effect.

Snow will begin tonight with a chance of ice pellets or freezing rain.

However, up to 40 millimetres of rain is expected to fall on Tuesday.
