Halifax Man Faces Multiple Charges After Fleeing From Bridgewater Police

A man from Halifax is facing multiple charges after fleeing from Police in Bridgewater.

Around 7:45 on Sunday morning, the Bridgewater Police Service conducted a traffic stop on York Street.

In a release, police say a man fled the vehicle of foot and was then located in the woods nearby and taken into custody.

Bridgewater Police searched the man and located suspected cocaine and cash.

Police say 29-year-old Kyle Rhodenizer has been Charged with Possession of Cocaine for Purpose of Trafficking, Resisting Arrest, and three counts of Breaching a Court Release Order.

Rhodenizer was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on September 13th.

The woman from Bridgewater who was driving the vehicle was also arrested and charged with Breaching a Court Release Order.
