40-Year-Old Man Dead After Collision On Hwy. 331

A 40-year-old man has died after a motorcycle accident in Conquerall Bank.

Around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a report of a collision on Highway 331.

RCMP said that a motorcycle and SUV were travelling in opposite directions when the motorcycle collided with the SUV.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle, a 40-year-old Lunenburg County man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver and the passenger of the SUV were uninjured.

Highway 331 was closed for 6 hours while a collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
