Curling Pre-Trials Wrap Up In Liverpool

The Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials wrapped up yesterday in Liverpool with the final three qualifying spots being claimed.

In the evening match Tanner Horgan of Kingston, Ontario topped Glenn Howard 7-4.

Jason Gunnlaugson (Gun lug son) of Manitoba grabbed the first berth yesterday morning.

In the afternoon draw Jacqueline Harrison of Dundas, Ontario punched her ticket with a lopsided 9-2 win over BC’s Corryn Brown.

Thunder Bay’s Krista McCarville clinched a spot on Saturday.

All qualifiers head to the Tim Horton’s Curling Trials in Saskatoon next month with a shot at representing Canada at the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
