Clocks Back An Hour This Weekend

Another time change is upon us this weekend as we “fall back” an hour Saturday night/Sunday morning. (Officially at 2am Sunday morning)

There’s been a movement the last few years to stay on one time all year and skip the time changes every fall and spring.

Some folks want more light in the morning, but others complain about it getting dark in the afternoon.

Because I get up very early and always go to work in the dark it really doesn’t affect me. But I kind of get what those people who like light in the morning are talking about.

In the early summer when the days are longest, there is a one month period where I can see a lightening on the horizon, I think they call it “false dawn”, that always gives me a burst of energy and lifts my spirits.

But for the entire year, I always have daylight on the drive home. I can’t imagine going to work in the dark and driving home in the dark as well.

Should they do away with the time change once and for all?
