I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie. There, I’ve admitted it.
I think I started one of the JK Rowling Harry Potter books but lost interest part way through and never finished it.
I know Harry Potter is a huge part of our pop culture, and I’ve seen bits and snippets of the films, and know some of the lore behind the movie franchise, but I’ve never made time to sit down and watch an entire Harry Potter film from beginning to end.
And perhaps an even bigger guilty admission on my part is that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I’ve only ever fully watched the first of the bunch – Iron Man. Perhaps three quarters of Iron Man 2.
I can’t explain why I have no interest in these superhero movies, because when I was a kid I had every Marvel comic book going. I could tell you the back story of every Marvel superhero, and all of their relationships. But I have no interest in watching these films.
