Bridgewater Curling Team To Compete In National Championship

A Bridgewater Curling team is finally getting their chance to compete at a National Championship.

Nick Deagle’s Bridgewater foursome, which includes Jason vanVonderen, Rob Phillips, and Ryan Sperry, claimed the Nova Scotia’s Men’s Club title in February 2020.

They were supposed to head to the Canadian Championships in the Fall of 2020, but the event was postponed due to COVID-19.

After some 20 months, the Bridgewater rink will leave this weekend for Ottawa to compete in the Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships starting on November 29th.
