Privateers Split Weekend Games

A huge win for the Privateers at Queens Place Emera Centre Sunday afternoon as they squeaked by the 1st Place Sackville Blazers 4-3.

Kayden Nickerson scored a pair for the winners, while Alec Howie and Josh Nicholson with the game winner for the Privateers added singles.

The Privateers are now 7-4-3 for 17 points and 2nd place in the Fred Fox Division, just 4 points behind the 10-5-1 Blazers.

Liverpool has two games in hand.

A shocking loss at home for the Privateers Saturday evening as the 4-9-1 Cumberland County Blues scored a 3-2 overtime win over the Privateers.

Alec Howie and Whelan Matthews connected for the Privateers with the Blues scoring 21 seconds into the five-minute sudden death overtime.

The Privateers return to action Saturday December 4th at Queens Place Emera Centre at 7:00 p.m. against the 5-5-0 Cole Harbour Capstone Colts.
