Did you snoop for your Christmas gifts when your parents weren’t looking? Were you successful? Did it ruin the surprise for you Christmas morning?
I never did, or if I tried to snoop, I was unsuccessful.
What I did do was pay attention in the store toy sections to the size and weight of the box the toys came in, and then lift each present under the tree and make some pretty good guesses.
One Christmas I found a miniature road sign on the basement floor and figured out that I was getting a wind up toy car that drove on a track.
However, I had friends who knew everything they were getting for Christmas thanks to snooping. They and their brothers and sisters would carefully open the hidden presents they found and play with the toys and then just as carefully wrap them back up again before their parents got home.
