Provincial parking ban to take effect

Winter is upon us. That means so is the provincial parking ban.

The ban takes effect on provincially owned roads in select areas on Wednesday and runs through the end of March.

Parking isn’t allowed between 1-6 a.m. or from one hour after a snowstorm begins to two hours after it stops — regardless of time of day.

Municipalities in the province set their own parking bans in mid-November. For information on that, contact your local municipality.
