Nova Scotians aren’t just dashing through the stores for Christmas gifts.
We’re also sprinting to public libraries for rapid COVID-19 test kits.
The Department of Health and Wellness says a limited supply is available and some locations have run out.
There is a limited supply of rapid tests available. Libraries that have run out will be restocked once. This may take up to a week.

Libraries will be restocked once, which could take up to a week.
A total of 400,000 tests will be available, and they’re packaged in kits of five.
The limit is one kit per person.
Officials recommend you reach out before trying to pick one up, adding only 1 or 2 members of the same household should get a kit.
They’re also asking for kindness and patience towards library staff, who are helping with the temporary measure to ensure holiday gatherings are safe.
