NSLC Offering Alternatives As Solution To Product Shortages

If you’re looking for your favourite wine or spirit this holiday season, you may have to find an alternative.

Like most retailers, the NSLC is dealing with product shortages.

Certain products are temporarily out of stock because of supply chain issues.

NSLC spokesperson Beverley Ware says it changes from week-to-week.

“The delay in delivery is affecting various products and regions at different times, rather than a particular brand or product,” says Ware.

Ware reassures customers, they have plenty of stock on many alternative products if they don’t have what you’re looking for.

“We have product, we might not have exactly what you’re looking for, but we always have alternative suggestions that are very similar.”

She says staff are available to help in comparing taste and price, and a lot of local products can help fill the need.
