MHL Delays Return To February

The Maritime Junior Hockey League is delaying a return to play once again.

Due to current restrictions being extended, the MHL is now targeting a date of February 2nd to restart the regular season.

Because of the entire month of January being missed, and timelines being tight, the season is being shortened by 10 games to 42 for each team.

The league says one home and one away game for every team against each divisional opponent will be removed.

A new schedule is being developed.

The league hasn’t played since before the holidays.
