Special Weather Statement Issued For Nova Scotia

Get ready for another winter storm.

Environment Canada issuing a Special Weather Statement this morning for all of Nova Scotia.

It’s the same time frame as last week, Friday night into Saturday.

The forecaster says 20-40 centimetres of snow could fall over western and northern parts of the province.

The storm will be mostly rain from Halifax to Cape Breton, with 30-50 millimetres expected.

Wind gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour can be expected across Nova Scotia, with higher than normal tides creating the potential for flooding.
