Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spent much of his day discussing the move towards $10-a-day childcare in Nova Scotia, which is continuing to progress with today’s announcement that child care costs will be reduced by 25 per cent as of April 1, 2022.
As part of the announcement our reporter, Evan Taylor was given an exclusive interview to discuss the child care program along with other federal issues that are having a local impact like the moderate livelihood fishery dispute and pandemic recovery efforts.
