68 people in hospital, 696 new lab-confirmed cases

The province is reporting 68 people being treated for COVID-19 in hospital Sunday.

Ten of them are in the ICU.

65 of the people in hospital have been admitted since the beginning of the Omicron wave.

People of all age groups are in hospital, but the average age is 65.

The province’s labs confirmed 696 new cases Sunday.

Of those, 447 cases are in Central Zone, 108 are in Eastern Zone, 105 are in Western Zone, and 36 are in Northern Zone.
