Province Wants Feedback On Cyber-Protection Act

The province wants to hear from residents about its Intimate Images and Cyber-protection Act.

An online survey is up, asking for feedback on the act, which passed legislation in 2018.

The government is conducting a review to see if it’s working for Nova Scotians.

They say they’re especially interested in hearing from those who have used the act in some way.

It was developed to discourage and prevent cyberbullying and the sharing of intimate images without consent.

The survey is open to those 16 and up, and the deadline is this Friday.
