Winter Storm Warning In Effect For Most Of N.S.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for most of Nova Scotia.

Environment Canada says anywhere from 15-40 centimetres of snow could fall, beginning overnight tonight depending on where you live.

Ice pellets and freezing rain could also be a factor as the storm changes to rain tomorrow afternoon.

Wind gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour are expected in some areas.

Western and Northern Nova Scotia should see the highest snowfall totals.

Halifax east to Cape Breton could see up to 50 millimetres of rain after 5-10 centimetres of snow in the morning.
