As the worst of the storm is still ahead of us, closure notices are rolling in.
All South Shore Regional Centre for Education and schools are closed today, along with the NSCC Lunenburg campus.
Some conseil scolaire acadien provincial schools are closed as well, including: Centre scholaire de la Rive-Sud and Ecole Rose-des-Vents.
All provincial offices are closed today as well.
Municipal offices for the Town of Bridgewater, Mahone Bay, MODL, and the District of Chester are closed to the public today. Staff will be working remotely.
Garbage collection in the municipalities of Bridgewater, the MODL, the town of Lunenburg and Chester is being postponed to Sat. Feb. 4.
The Region of Queens is also postponing garbage collection today. It will be picked up on Mon. Feb. 7 instead.
