Power is out for about 4,000 customers in Shelburne County this hour.
Nova Scotia Power says a ‘transmission interruption’ is the reason.
The outage includes the Town of Shelburne and surrounding areas.
Hillcrest Academy is being dismissed, and Shelburne High will be dismissed at 10 a.m.
The estimated restoration time, according to NS Power’s online outage map is 10:30 a.m.
