Social media seems split on Sunday night’s Super Bowl Halftime show featuring Eminem, Snoop, Dre, Fifty Cent, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar. Half of you think it’s the best half time show ever, while half of you couldn’t stand it.
I get it. I used to hate hip hop almost as much as country music. Now I love both genres.
For me this years half time show was an almost flawless 15 minute trip down memory lane that ranks in my all time top 5 performances.
But not number one. Prince will always hold that spot for his amazing show that not even a thunder and lightning storm could stop.
Special mentions to Springsteen, Beyonce, Michael Jackson and Shakira/Jennifer Lopez.
Also, U2 for their heart tugging performance after 9/11.
