The other night while watching TV a commercial came on that featured one of my favourite songs of all time – In My Life by the Beatles.
I was impressed that a company probably paid major bucks for the rights to the song but I cannot tell you what the commercial was for. No idea.
But commercial jingles are another story.
When I hear someone singing “Gimme A Break” I immediately think Kit Kat.
Commercial Jingles guarantee I will never forget the phone numbers for Casino Taxi or PEI Tourism.
When I have my morning coffee I hum “the best part of waking up”
Making a sandwich I will often sing “my bologna has a first name”
And if I hear “sometimes you feel like a nut” I crave a chocolate bar.
