Wheels Versus Doors

At first I thought this was the dumbest debate I have ever heard of – the Socials are burning up with debate over the question. “Are there more wheels or doors in the world?”

My initial answer was doors as I thought of skyscrapers, office buildings, stores and homes.

But as I thought about it some more I became less sure of my answer.

Office buildings have lots of doors, but they also have lots of desks with chairs with wheels.

Stores may be big, but they are open concept with few doors, and most of them have multitudes of shopping carts with wheels.

At home I thought doors would be the hands down winner. But then I thought of the home office desk chairs with wheels.

And I am not sure if kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors count as doors.

Then I also remembered to count bikes, wheelbarrows and garden carts.

Suitcases with wheels.

And your computer mouse has a wheel.

Oh, and last I looked on the net, #TeamWheels was ahead of #TeamDoors by a small margin – 56% to 43%

So does the world have more wheels or more doors?
