Raisins. For many years the bane of my existence.
I’d bite into a cookie and find a raisin or three.
It seemed as if every grandmother had to sign a contract to promise to ruin a perfectly good cookie with raisins.
The same goes for finding carrots in fried rice or spaghetti sauce.
Now, I like raisins in bread or by themselves as a healthy snack. I like carrots raw and love to dip them.
I now understand my kids and my friends who don’t like onion or mushrooms in everything. I love onions and mushrooms in all things.
What ingredient ruins a dish for you?
