South Shore Curlers In The Mix At Provincial Championships

A lot of South Shore flavour are at the top of the leaderboards after two days of play at the Men’s and Women’s Provincial Curling Championships in Halifax.

Jill Brothers, formerly of Liverpool, and now playing out of the host Mayflower Club, is tied for first place with two other clubmates; Colleen Jones and Mary Anne Arsenault.

All three teams are a perfect 3-0 in the eight team event.

On the men’s side, Chester native Chad Stevens and his Mayflower squad are alone in top spot with a 4-0 record.

Three teams are right behind with 3-1 marks including former Bridgewater resident Shawn Adams.

Round robin action continues today with draws at 9 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. at the Mayflower Curling Club.
