Some people may have had childhood scares from the mall Santa.
Others, like one of my kids, were traumatized by clowns and can’t stand them to this day.
Me? The Mall Easter Bunnies creep me out like no other costumed character.
They seem more alien than the freakiest aliens from the horror sci-fi movies.
Yet I love rabbits. I don’t own one, but I’ve been keeping an eye on the backyard for one of the rites of spring around here.
I love watching them hop around the yard nibbling at the green shoots and trying to avoid the hawks and owls.
No rabbit sightings yet. But it’s early.
Meanwhile is it safe to go back in the mall?
