Chester’s Mary Fay scored two in the tenth last night to edge Saskatchewan 7-6 and remain perfect at the Canadian Junior Women’s Curling Championships in Stratford, Ontario.
The Nova Scotia champs are 4-0 and in top spot in Pool B entering a contest today against the Yukon.

A couple of South Shore natives will be heading back to the national curling stage next month.
Jill Brothers led her Mayflower rink to the Nova Scotia Scotties championship with an 8-5 win over club mate Mary Anne Arsenault in yesterday’s final in Halifax.
Brothers, originally from Liverpool, along with former Lunenburger Bliss Joyce, Teri Udle and Sarah Murphy, will represent the province at the Scotties in Grande Prairie, Alberta next month.
Brothers and Joyce are former Canadian Junior Women’s curling champions.
Jamie Murphy’s Mayflower rink captured the Provincial Mens Curling Tankard with a 6-5 extra end win over club mate Chad Stevens.
Murphy will head to the Brier in Ottawa in March.
