A 13th Jeopardy! win for Nova Scotia super star Mattea Roach.
The 23-year-old who hails from Halifax is now the contestant with the eighth-longest winning streak in the quiz show’s history.
She secured another win during the Final Jeopardy round of the American game show on Thursday night.
Although she did not get the correct response, she had enough of a lead over her opponents to emerge victoriously.
She added another $14,000 to her winnings for a total of more than US$ 286,000 won.
The Toronto-based law school tutor defends her title again tonight.
