Man Charged After Several Break-Ins In Shelburne

A man was arrested after a string of break-ins in Shelburne last week.

28 year old Gregory Lee Perry of Clark’s Harbour is facing a slew of charges including assault, and multiple counts of break-and-enter and uttering threats.

Late on the night of April 14th, Shelburne RCMP say Perry broke into homes on King Street, Harding Boulevard and Second Street.

Police initially responded to a call of a violent, intoxicated man on Harding Boul. who had threatened to kill the homeowner.

While on route, RCMP got word of another break-in, where Perry asked if anyone wanted to fight.

Later, homeowners at another residence were threatened and a 64 year old man was assaulted.

Perry chased another homeowner away as he challenged him to a fight.

Police located Perry and he was taken into custody in Yarmouth.

He was released on strict conditions, including a ban on alcohol, and he will appear in Shelburne Provincial Court on June 1st.
