Raw Cookie Dough! Yum or Yuck?

I feel like this is going to be quite the debate. There are people in this world believe it or not that don’t like raw cookie dough! I know right! I, if you can’t tell already am not one of those people! I have been know to raid my mother’s pantry for ingredients just to make raw cookie dough and never bake it! I like it even better than the cooked cookies. To some this might sound gross but I know I’m not the only one out there that loves it.

I’ve even seen some small convenience stores selling containers of raw cookie dough so someone must like it! I’m not sure what it is about it but it’s one of my favorite treats ever. Now for years people have been telling me how dangerous it is to eat raw cookie dough because of the raw eggs but let me tell you something. I’ve been having it for almost 20 years and I still don’t have salmonella. I’m not saying it can’t happen though. That’s why I now make eggless cookie dough. This would be great for all our vegan friends too. Here’s a recipe I’ve used before that tastes exactly the same as regular dough!
