Province Invests $5 Million For Transportation Services

Money to improve access to public transportation throughout Nova Scotia.

The province has announced an investment of $5 million for transportation services.

It’s being made through the Community Transportation Assistance Program and Public Transit Assistance Program.

The province says twenty-seven municipalities and community organizations will receive funding.

Public Works Minister Kim Masland says access to transportation is a necessity and the investment will make it more safe, affordable and accessible.
