I come from a camping family.
We started out with a tent, then a tent trailer.
My fondest childhood memories were of beautiful summers spent in a tent in campgrounds around the Maritimes.
When I became an adult I kept up the camping tradition – camping here on the South Shore, the Valley and even as far North as Gros Morne Park in Newfoundland.
However I wasn’t as organized as my parents as far as packing for camping.
One trip I forgot the tent poles.
Another camping trip I forgot the tent pegs.
And, yes, there was the time we didn’t bring a can opener.
Tell me about your camping fails.
