Gas up a nickel and a half this morning. It got me thinking about my last road trip before prices got out of hand.
I like to visit my son and his family in Rimouski, Quebec. (He claims he’s the only English guy in the entire city)
But I don’t take the Trans Canada to Riverie Du Loup, I take the northern New Brunswick route through Miramichi, Bathurst and Campbellton and then through the Matapedia mountains of Quebec.
I love the mountain drive and the views of the huge rivers in that area.
I won’t be taking another road trip until the price of gas goes back down to better prices or I win the lottery.
