There were no injuries after fire destroyed a home just outside Yarmouth.
It happened at the height of Friday evening’s snowstorm in the Brooklyn area.
Firefighters from Yarmouth and four other communities responded to the call.
A couple and their four children are staying with relatives.
The Canadian Red Cross is helping by purchasing clothing and food for the family.
