Our Athlete of the Week is 17-year-old Finn McDormand of Lower Branch
Sports Organization: Wrestling and Judo
Finn has been named provincial gold medal champion in school wrestling and has been selected to represent Nova Scotia at the Canada Games in Niagara.
In addition, they earned a silver medal at Judo provincials this year and hope to be able to represent NS again in Judo at the winter Canada Games (pictured in pink).
As Athlete of the Week, Finn won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
