Mahone Bay: Police Recover Stolen Property, Dismantle Grow-Op

Stolen property worth over $20-thousand has been recovered from a home in Mahone Bay.

Lunenburg RCMP and Bridgewater Police found two utility trailors, several empty beer kegs, concrete and lumber.

They also dismantled a marijuana grow-op and seized 25 plants.

Staff Sergeant Jean-Guy Richard says a 63 year-old woman was arrested.

“There is a possibility that other people may be involved and our investigators are following up that avenue.”

Richard says the discovery helped wrap up four different theft cases reported over the last two months.

The woman faces multiple charges and has been released from custody.

She is due in court on May 4.
