A Bridgewater tavern is out of commission indefinitely.
King’s Corner Bar and Grill was shut down on Monday.
The Rhodenizer Family, who held a mortgage for the current owners, say they are owed over 430-thousand dollars.
Sheila Rhodenizer-Mackay says she seized the building because Sharon Saulnier and Michel Habib forfeited on the mortgage.
A five-day deadline has been handed down for the owners to pay the bill.
The deadline is expected to pass on Thursday.
A message was sent to Sharon Saulnier but there was no response.
Meanwhile, Ma and Pa’s Kitchen, has also been affected by the closure. The restaurant is attached to the tavern.
The story has attracted lots of community interest, with over 30,000 people reached and 500 shares on the CKBW South Shore Radio Facebook page.
This notice of seizure was posted to the tavern on Monday.
