The R.C.M.P. Musical Ride is in Bridgewater both tonight and tomorrow night, 7:00 PM at the South Shore Exhibition grounds. It certainly is a show worth seeing particularly for those who like horses. But anyone, really.
I have been asked to be there to be the announcer tonight. Honestly, it’s a major perk of the job. Sure, it’s kind of like working, but you also get a pretty good seat for a lot of different events. Which is something I don’t mind in the least.
I have gotten to see and play a small part in a number of big events over the years, and I will say I enjoy this one. I’m not a big horse fan. I’ve never been on one in my life. But I do appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into a performance like this.
The Musical Ride is all about precision. The patterns and maneuvers the horses and their riders go through is really quite impressive. And it’s a great show for the whole family.
If you can make it, you should go. It really is a great show.
