A 17 year-old curler admits she is feeling a bit fatigued.
But, Mary Fay says the experience of winning a national title was well worth it.
The grade 12 student at Park View Education Centre is catching up on school work before heading to the Youth Winter Olympics next week in Lillehammer, Norway.
She says school is her number one priority.
“But at the same time, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’ll probably being doing a lot of catching up when I get back but it will be worth it. These are memories I’ll have for a lifetime.”
Fay says it was her team’s goal to win nationals this year.
She was recognized earlier this week with a Canadian flag signed by staff and students at her school.
