Four Men From Halifax Die In Highway 104 Crash

Four men from Halifax died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 104 in Pictou County.

It happened around midnight near Priestville.

RCMP say it was a head-on collision between a car and an SUV in the eastbound lane of the divided highway.

Among the deceased include the 51-year old driver and sole occupant of the car, and three men in the SUV aged 51, 55 and 61.

A 51-year old passenger in the SUV is in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say their investigation is on-going.

The section of highway was closed overnight into late this morning.
