Bridgewater Parking meters phase out nickels and dimes

The Town of Bridgewater has announced their parking meters will no longer accept nickels or dimes.

The change came into effect on Thursday, August 4 and impacts all meters within town limits. Town staff will be marking the meters in the coming days to reflect the change.

Parking rates remain unchanged, costing $1 per hour in metered parking spots.

Motorists parking in town also have cashless options, with the town offering digital payment through the Hotspot application.
