Ever wondered what it would be like to be a 911 operator?
Nova Scotia RCMP will be giving the twitter-verse a taste of what it’s like.
On Friday night, Corporal Andrew Joyce will be live-tweeting calls from across the province.
“I can’t stress enough,” he says, “we will not risk public safety. We wouldn’t jeopardize an investigation or, certainly, violate someone’s privacy by giving out personal information.”
Joyce says non-emergency calls continue to be a problem.
He says they hope this will help people understand when it’s appropriate to call 911.
#CopCallsNS goes live starting at 8 p.m.
