Motivation has faded for many who made resolutions to get fit this year.
Life coach and trainer Tammy Slauenwhite isn’t surprised.
She says people often set their sights too high.
“…and then they start to do the work towards the goal,” she says,” and then realize it’s taking more effort, more work, and then the excitement starts to dwindle and then they give up.”
Slauenwhite says it’s better to choose small, achievable goals.
She adds you shouldn’t let mistakes derail your progress.
If you skip the gym or go on a cookie binge just start fresh in the morning.
