Animal Rescue!

It was quite the exciting day on McNutt’s Island in the Shelburne Harbour a few days ago! There were two stranded dolphins that had to be saved by Nova Scotia’s Marine Animal Response Society (MARS) and local residents.

There were five dolphins in all that needed to be rescued and relocated to a different part of the island where the water was deeper! You can read the full story HERE

This isn’t one of the dolphins rescued but just look how happy this one it!!

After reading about all that excitement, I thought I would ask! Have you ever helped rescue a wild animal? Even calling the right people can be huge help! Here are the numbers to call if the situation presents itself!
