There were 11 deaths due to COVID-19 in Nova Scotia last week, six more than the week before.
According to the province’s dashboard on the virus, the deaths happened between August 9-15.
Forty people were admitted to hospital during that time, that’s down six from the previous week.
We averaged just over 200 cases a day.
As of yesterday, Nova Scotia Health says there are 50 patients in hospital with COVID, seven are intensive care.
