There are eight new COVID-19 deaths to report in Nova Scotia.
The province has updated its online dashboard for the seven-day period ending August 22nd.
That number marks a drop from the previous report when there were eleven.
Meantime, there were 34 new hospital admissions and 1,360 lab-confirmed cases of the virus.
Those numbers are also down from the previous report when there were 40 hospitalizations and 1,445 new PCR-confirmed cases.
