As summer draws to a close, Nova Scotians are reminded to continue to be fire safe even with recent rainfall and cooler temperatures.
Manager of forest protection Scott Tingley asks people to check local burn regulations and burn bylaws before starting a fire.
The regulated fire season is active until October 15th
